Outdoor & inclement weather
Our outdoor & inclement weather policy:
Your child is outside for a minimum of 2 hours everyday.
Outdoor play is restricted in circumstances of extreme temperatures:
Infants: temperatures -15C or lower with windchill OR temperatures +30C or higher with humidex.
Toddlers & Preschoolers: temperatures -20C or lower with windchill OR temperatures +35C or higher with humidex.
When outdoor play is restricted, access to our gym & gross motor room is greatly encouraged.
in winter:
Please provide toques/hats, mittens/gloves, winter coat and snow pants.
in spring:
Please provide rubber boots, lightweight coat and splash pants.
in summer:
Please provide hats and appropriate shoes (no flip-flops)
